Day +39 Prograf Capsules Suspended in Water

This article (written by a doctor at Stanford) says for liver transplant pediatic patients that you can suspend a capsule in water, inject it to the NG tube and flush it. I'm waiting for the doctors to do their rounds to discuss.

Aimee,

I have been reading your posts. is there a reason he needs prograf and not cycosporine? Jacob is getting cycosporine and it is given by IV but only for 1 hour twice a day. It was nerve racking at first, but I have been administering it all week and would prefer to do that any day to trying to get something in his mouth. I do not know if you can switch track now, but it is worth considering.

I'm praying for a resolution that will work for you and David!
