We are really up against some heavy decisions. With no HLA sibling match, we have the opportunity to enter David in the national marrow registry. If we do this, it is a commitment and we are expected to follow through. If we elect to forgo the BMT and hope for the best, his immune system might break down in the next 10 years resulting in leukemia or lymphoma.
I'll be seeking more medical counsel. I ask that you pray God guides us every step of the way. I feel God has been there so far. I know He has not deserted me or David. He will continue to be with us.
