I am overwhelmed with the kindness our church family around the USA and Canada has shown us by sending so many cards. Today, we received 14 cards. By about card 7, I could not hold back the tears. I was literally overwhelmed by the kind words and encouragement from everyone. Thank you for your outpouring love, concern, and prayers for David and our family. I am so thankful to be a member of a community that cares and prays. It sure makes it easier to get through this trial!
David did something funny with one of the cards that has two pine cones dressed in a doctor's and nurses outfit. When I showed it to him he smiled and kissed the card. It was so cute.
