I kind of let his seizure med run out. The multiple rescheduling of his MRIs threw me off. The neurology nurse said, well, since I periodically forgot to give him the med (a type of tapering-off) then I ran out of the med, it was OK to stop giving him the med. She said there is no right or wrong answer. Since David never had a seizure, it's hard for the doc to tell if he should stay on it or be off. His injury was considered minor (that was their term). They would prefer to keep him on the med for the next 2 months. If his seizures (which he never had) act up, I will call to get the med refilled.
Good. One less drug for his liver and kidneys to deal with.
