Dressing Change
David's central line site looks great. The nurse at Stanford changed it for me. It took another nurse to hold his legs and I held his arms. He is a strong toddler and protective of his central line. He screamed the whole time and his face turned bright pink. He was so upset. The nurse did not want to tramatize him because he will have the dressing changed every week. She went slow and was careful. I'm not sure how Michael and I would have changed the dressing by ourselves.
