+1273 - Doing pretty good!

A boy who loves his slime!

David's been doing pretty good. He did get the mucus cough that the rest of the family had. He seems to be doing fine. His diet has been so-so. He is so picky. Sometimes he will go without 2 meals a day because he is determined that he does not like what I serve him. What child does not like potato cheese soup? At least he loves broccoli and spinach.

His skin is looking pretty good too. We are still on 1.4mls/twice/day. I think it's a blessing that he is fighting a cold, yet he does not have a GVHD skin flare-up. It's common for the skin to flare when the body's immune system is busy fighting something else.

I wanted to post a photo of him participating in our science class. We made glow-in-the-dark slime. We used common ingredients so I am happy I did not have to pay a fortune for a slime kit. We also made hard bouncy balls. The kids wanted to add highlighter juice to make them glow. You can see his skin is looking pretty good in the photo. His hands are not doing too bad either. They are chapping but not peeling as much. I gave him a haircut too. I think he looks handsome.

Thank you for your prayers and love for us!

Hi Aimee,

Oh Yes! He does look so handsome and just too sweet!

Good to hear that steroids are stable and his skin is better too. There is a sparkle in his eyes that seem to be new...am I just imagining it Aimee?

Wishing you, David and your family the Best of 2010! May it be the turning year in your lives.

Best,

Sumathi
