It's been 40 days! A sign of a true trial (Noah and the flood raining for 40 days, Israel ate manna for 40 days, Moses at Mt. Sinai for 40 days, Jesus fasted for 40 days).
I can rejoice over two successes yesterday. The nanny bought Trader Darwin's children chewable w/out iron and he ate it. And for the drum roll...I put his Prograf in a medicine cup (it's only 1/2 teaspoon) and added Odwalla Superfood. He drank it. Prograf tastes great, it's really yummy so it blended well with Superfood. Big sigh!
My mother-in-law is visiting David today. I'm going home for a few hours then to a homeschool kick-off picnic.
"And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, "The Lord the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and fourth generation." Ex 34:6-7
When God revealed Himself to Moses on Mount Sinai, He described himself as overflowing with goodness. This is one of the most significant words that described God's character. It is often translated as mercy and sometimes as lovingkindness. The basic meaning of the word is "loyal love" or "steadfast love." It refers to God's loyalty and faithfulness to his covenant. This love is very similar to marital love, a love that is obligatory because of the marriage contract, but still intimate and voluntary. [from The Nelson Study Bible]

Hi Aimee
I am happy that you have had success with the Prograf. Baden did not take that. He had cyclosporine, and I can remember his pic line getting contaminated when a nurse put the cyclosporine in the wrong lumen. It took a couple of weeks for the line to recover. It was a pain.
Hope things continue going well.
Wow, good for David!! I pray that he continues to take the Prograf well!
Love,
Andrea
