Hemoglobin

I forgot to mention about his hemoglobin. It's going down again! Please pray for his body to stop destroying the red blood cells, or whatever is destroying them. Perhaps his bone marrow is not producing enough red blood cells. It's so hard to tell b/c the steroids mask a lot of symptoms. Dr. Dvorak ordered a retick count for next week. Meanwhile, we are keeping our eyes on him and his symptoms. If he appears tired and pale we need to take him in. There is a pattern compared to the last time the steroids were tapered. The hemoglobin went down and the rash came back. Dr. Dvorak is optimistic and hopeful this will not happen again.
