Development
David had a good week. The bridge of his nose is healing well and he looks much better, except for the few (that is an understatement) new bruises. I just can't keep him down and have no desire to exclude him from activity. He needs to move, explore, climb, run, walk over things, and develop. The helmet is bad enough. His grandma made him a quilt with Minky Blankie as a backing. I took off his helmet and he literally rubbed his head on the soft Minky Blankie like a cat loving the side of the couch. It must have felt so good. People say that wearing the helmet does not delay development, but I have to disagree. One way children learn is by everything they touch, including things they touch with their head.
